Default switch firing order of 7 and 8

Ok i had a header gasket leave. went to fix it today, unplugged the plug wires on the pass side, got 5 right, 6 was loose, and had codes for a random misfire, and a misfire on 6 and 8. fixed 6 then figured 8 and 7 were close in firing order so they would hit a, just a little off, so i switched them. maybe its just cause i never got into it with the exhaust leak cause it sounded like chit. now it seems like it has a lot more nut!

any ideas? or is it in my head?

you will do serious damage to your motor if you keep it like that.

There is a reason why things are balanced.

Oh, and it sounds like it had more nut because it is working against the grain.

I hate to ask it, but was it wrong before???

I bought a used car that wouldnt run properly only to discover the previous owner had replaced the spark plugs and two were out of order...

the header gasket was half blown out, and with my pacesetters you cant get s socket on a couple of the header bolts, and its easier to unplug the sp wires to use a box end wrench.

Pop your hood with the engine idling. If there is a slight hiccup every 3 seconds...a plug is out of order.

Trust me, it does not have more "nut." Buy a manual and fix your firing order
