I personally don't think it sounds like one, but that's probably because my fiance owns one.
Cool, that's exactly how I want it. However, do you get a lot of cab vibration from it, almost like a subwoofer "bass" tone?

Right now, because the muffler is cut off, the pipe from the cat ends right under the cab, and I didn't know if the vibration was just because the pipe ended there, or if this is normal.

Thanks again!

Nope, nothing really. I mean, I've never seen or heard the truck when it had a muffler, but it's nothing that's bothered me. I get complaints from people, however they drive quiet vehicles EXTREMELY quiet vehicles.

I love the way it sounds, and right now, I really miss it. Don't get me wrong, the cummins motor sounds great, however, I miss mine.

If you are wanting good sound, but not the high pitched tone,3" pipe is what you want.Looking for the diesel sound? That would be hard to do without a diesel engine. With a gasoline engine, your only choices are quite, noticable, and loud!!!!!Another suggestion would be use 2" or 2-1/4" pipe, and a Magnaflow muffler,or Flowmaster 50 HD....The smaller pipe would give you more punch through the muffler..Just a thought!!!!!!
