My drivers side rear view mirror glass is rattling on its mount and it is driving me crazy! It is an aftermarket replacement put on the truck when i bought it. I plan to change it when i get a new door but for now id like to fix it. it is a power heated one. Have any of you ever taken the glass off? or had this prob? for now i have cardboard stuffed in the top of it to keep it tight.

Well that probably means the rotating mechanism used to adjust the mirror is no good. Just go to a JY and get a new mirror.
