That's a shame. I could have saved him some money. I did the same thing about 2 years ago with similar results. Not enough blow by to worry about.

Do you have any idea how much oil is too much oil?
A lot of oil.

Finnaly I can explain to my dad this ticking that he hears everytime the truck is running. I told him that there was a big clock in his head.

I'd stick with the crazy story personally.

i just changed both coolant temp sensors. i broke one while doing my plenum fix, and then the connector on the other o got stripped. that damn wiring harness is dealer only and cost about 30$. but the sensors themselves are easy and cheap. i did notice that my gas mileage has improved. alot more noticeable than fixing the plenum (but that could be because i broke the temp sensor)

i would say replace them, i also am running a tad hotter than i thought, or from previous to the plenum fix

Since part of the subject is PCV valves, how in the hell do you get that bitch of a hose off the keg without breaking it?
I would like to check it without having to replace it. (right now anyway)

Break it and go get another one. I think they are only 10 dollars from the dealer.

Slice it down the side with a pocket knife and pull it off, then replace it with a newer one. The old rubber gets stiff and is tough to pull off.

^Bah! Ok.
I guess that'll have to wait till I get my LP.
Dad won't let me spend any money on the truck till I either get my LP or my license, so that I can "Drive my own *** to the damn parts store."
lol
Thanks.

That hose can be bought at Lowes by the foot.

As for the coolant temp sensor. Most people get a new one because they broke it when taking off/putting back on their radiator hose to the water neck. I know i did. 15 bucks.

My truck runs 180* with full blast AC in 110* temps. I ran the NAPA descaler (radiator flush) and put a pint of that Royal Purple coolant additive in there when i did my plenum and roller rockers.
