stock spring??? or not?
ok i cant find anything online to verify the stock size (length) of the front springs from a 2000 2500 4x4. i just ripped the dana 60 and 70 out with 4.10's and noticed that there were blocks in the rear about 4.75-5". there was also what looks like an add-a-leave or helper spring with a 1" block on top of that with the stock springs under it. helper spring, 1"block, stock springs, 5"block...so that got me thinking, this truck might have a lift already on it and ill just take the front springs just in case. so my question is obvious... does anybody know how long the front springs are for this year and model... the springs i pulled off are about 18.5" top to bottom... thanks for the time guys...

I bought my 99 2500 V10 4x4 with the factory plow & camper packages.
Going from the axle to the top it has
4.75" blocks, 4leafs (3bound w/eyelet/1overload), 1" block then 2helper leafs
Do you have sway bars in the rear as well?

yes to both of your questions... i am planing to swap the 2500 axles into my 1500. and yes the dana 70 was that was pulled from a 2000 2500 v10 does still have the rear sway bar on it. i just got my truck back from the body shop and now noticed the blocks that you guys said were there... makes me think that there wasnt a lift on the truck to begin with... the guy said that there was a 3 inch lift on it... and all i see are the blocks and a spacer ontop of my front springs... im thinking it may be a leveling kit now that you told me that they came with blocks in the rear... hmmmm... damnit all... anybody looking to move a 5" lift? lol
