my parking brake barely works, how do i adjust it?

for one your rear brakes probly need adjusting too. adjust those, and then there is an adjuster thats connected to the ebrake cables that run along the frame of the truck on the drivers side. tighten that up a bit and you should be good. be careful, they like to rot out and break on you. i had to replace mine for inspection.

Buy a Haynes manual and follow the instructions. It is nearly impossible to explain without pictures with detailed captions.

The parking brake controls the rear brake shoes.
