***Please Help - Trany emergency*** Only vehicle
I'm actually posting to try and assist a friend. He has a 99 Ram 1500 5.2 2wd pick-up. To make a long story short, the governor solenoid and pressure sensor needed/need to be replaced. But they decided to listening to someone else and chose to try and replace the trany with a used trany instead. The used trany was no good (surprise, surprise) and they now have the original trany back in the truck. The governor solenoid and pressure sensor were replaced and now the truck will not shift out of 1st gear. and even in reverse the truck moves forward. Does this mean the new sensors are bad or could it be the shifter linkage? Does anyone have a diagram of the shifter linkage?
Thanks for the help!
