2000 Spindle on 98 Ram 1500 4X2??
Hopefully not beating a dead horse here. I did guite a few searches before posting.
I had an accident that busted one of my stock 17" rims. Picked up a set of Gen 3 20" "Daisy" rims and tires cheap. As has already been mentioned on this forum, they will not fit on the front because of the bearing cap. I can get a complete set of spindles, calipers, rotors, etc off of the 2000 ram 1500 that the rims came on. From a casual look it appears as if the spindles would fit although they are definitely a different design with the sealed bearing and all.
I could put on spacers, etc. but I would prefer to keep the stock caps thus the question on the spindles. Has anyone tried this swap?
Thanks in advance.

its not a stupid question. but i don't recall reading anyone's post that said they had done this, so it might be awhile before you get a good answer.
my guess is that it will work, and you'll get better brakes from the 00/01 which have different knuckles and dual piston calipers.
ttt.

I know this is some time later...but I was wondering if you ever got this to work?....or if anyone has done this to their Ram. I would like some info...
Thanks!
Thanks!
