I have a 2000 dodge ram sport 1500 4x4 with and auto transmission, does anyone know what type of transmission would be in it. 46re? if so would it be able to fit in any dodge ram 94-01 weather they are 4x4 or 2x4 as long as it also has a 46re?

94-95 46rh 96-01 46re 2x4 and 4x4 versions are interchangeable just have to swith overdrive section. Ive done it many times without a hitch. rock crawlin is hard on transmissions. lol
