its possible to get good mpgs if you take care of the common problems...(plenum, tune-up etc.)
ive done alot of work to my truck...i have 204K, and i can make it to my parents house in Maine on less than a half a tank, (284 miles) and i have the 26 gallon tank....and i have the 360 and its a 4x4.....and thats about 20 mpgs, and its all highway, cruise control set to 68-69mph (GPS says 71 mph)....but i have 4.10 gears as well.
