Under hood bulb

Before I break the lens, is it supposed to pry off in some way?

it will come off, i pulled it off the hood and man handled it a bit

I've thought about wiring in a second one for the passenger side before, but just haven't done it yet.

I got the lens off without breaking it, however, all the interior parts just fell out as the result of corrosion. Any one have an extra one? LOL

It does not look like that opened up, that pic is missing a lot of green.
