thinking about stroking my 5.9L 360 to a 408. my questions are will my transmission hold up, and will it be reilable as a daily driver? im looking to be somewhere in the 300hp range.

 

hahaha, you'll eat your tranny right up.......we dont have the best trannys....best to have one built since you're going all the way with a stroker.......post pics....

 

didnt think the 46RE would hold up to well, can i get by with an upgraded torque convertor or am i looking at all new internals

 

I'd go all out with a whole new transmission. PATC or Dr. Evil would be the best bet...

 

300rw, you want to upgraded the tc & trans internals if you want to play with that power
Also add a deep pan(with temp gauge) & extra cooler

Personally I wouldnt buy from Dr. Evil, dont believe in purchasing from a company thats keeping whats put into the trans a secret.
