96 ram 1500 problem

Default 96 ram 1500 problem

I have a 96 ram 1500 4x4 with 5.9 auto and this is my problem I just replaced the fuel pump and sending unit sometimes the truck wont start without me holding the pedal down after a few min of doing this the truck will stay running I have no codes coming up I thought maybe theres not enough voltage since sometimes the truck will turnover slowly but will fire please help me

Maybe a low battery, maybe the alternator isn't charging the battery as it should, or something as simple as too much carbon build up in the throttle body. I suggest cleaning the Throttle body w/some Throttle body cleaner first, since that is the cheaper/easiest way to go first.

well tried cleaning it and nothing when i slow down to stop it shuts off now I swear the next truck I buy is going to be a diesel
