I do respect your opinion but I respectfully disagree. I think the ability to stop on a dime and WHEN YOU WANT is highly underrated. Assuming his ram is well maintained with a good tune up and the plunem issue solved, it's got good "get up and go" power. I mean it's not a 10 second 1/4 mile car, but it has nuts. If you punch it, it will get up to speed in a very reasonable amount of time. Stopping, however, is something that when you need it, you need it NOW. Especially in our trucks. While I can't see myself spending $4k on brakes, I can't knock him for it. It's his money. Best of luck Farm boy.

Redneck, are the 2500 calipers and wheel cylinders a direct bolt on replacement or do they require some modification?

Do you use the same pads or pads for 2500. What about the rear shoes, 3500 or 1500?

It doesn't look like it would too expensive depending on what brand of calipers you get. Saw them on auto zone for like $22 each.

I can understand that. Thought maybe I was missing something and they weren't that cheap.

lets see...youre forgetting rear shoes, and a rear hardware kit. but like i previously posted...just got down to your local advance, or oreillys and get there best rotors best ceramic pads best drums and best rear shoes. hardware kits are all the same so just go with whatever they have. it will save you on shipping.
