Default Overhead compartment removal

I pickup a digital overhead compartment during some part swapping, but now I can't seem to find any screws or snaps that will remove the original compartment. Any one know how this thing comes off? I was told the digital one has a mileage computer and clock, I hope so.

How are you going to make the digital one work? Does your truck already have a digital one installed?

Other people can correct me if I'm wrong which I don't think I am. You can't do that. In order to do that you have to feed that display unit with a computer. You can't just plug it in and expect it to work. Its like taking a blackberry cell phone and using an iphone charger to charge it. I don't think it's going to work out how you think it will.

I got it off, push down on the two tabs at the same time pull down and back. But the digital console has a larger snap on connecton. So it's back to the junk yard...
