do cam OR roller rockers. Do not do both. If you want more lift, just get a bigger cam.

People do the 1.7s IN LIEU of doing a cam.

I would just get the 1.7s and not get a cam. Get the SCT from hemifever (PM him). 275 dollars for 3 tunes. If you upgrade your HEADS, he will do custom tuning for 100 dollars more (unlimited tuning).

Here is the list:
1. SCT and 180* thermostat: This will give you the best HP increase over any other mod. $275
2. Spectre HpR (Cloth) air filter: Just like a K&N but costs half as much. Getting this instead of a CAI is good for a budget and pretty close to what a CAI will flow over a stock airbox WITH A CLOTH FILTER. $25
3. JBA Shorty headers (Ceramic coated). About $200 more than the edelbrocks, but WELL WORTH IT. They are some greatly engineered headers. I owned the edelbrock ceramic coated headers and the JBAs are MUCH better. You can get these with the money you will save on a CAI. $545

Those 3 will cost about 1000

Then if you want more, you can get some heads (About $900)

I have the top 3 plus some other little things. I am pretty much set. SCT is a must, PM hemifever or email hemifever@aol.com.

Again, get the SCT before anything else.
