Default Question about lift kits(suspension)

I plan on getting a Ram soon, probably in a week or two. Been looking for a bit.
It will most likely be a 2wd and a V-6. So I want to beef it up some.
I'll figure something out to get rid of the sound of a 6.
But I have been looking at a few lifts on the internet but they all seem to say they are for 4X4s. So does this mean that they won't fit a 2wd? And why wouldn't it fit?
Below is a link to the lift. I want a suspension lift, and probably around 5"

I might start out with a 2"

NO a 4x4 kit WILL NOT work on your 2wd totally different setup, will have to find a kit for a 2wd and if its a 00-01 or a 99 and older it will make a big difference in kits, fabtech makes a kit and you can piece together your own to get a 5inch lift with ease
