My clear coat is starting to haze on my hood and roof. I've tried using my random orbital buffer and rubbing compound as well as polishing compound, but the problem still persists. Any ideas of how to fix this? Or am I basically running downhill with my paint and am looking at repainting?

 

Try lightly wet-sanding with 2500 or 3000 grit sandpaper and sanding sponge, then buffing it out. Don't go too far with either though or you'll sand/burn through. If that doesn't work, looks like repaint time.
