Default Cleaning out a clogged cat??

1994 Dodge ram 1500 L 5.9 auto tranny. I think I have a plugged cat. I'm told it can be cleaned out (I know it's not legal). Anyone have any BTDT advice.

Default RE: Cleaning out a clogged cat??

I have a 99 360 auto and mine was clogged so I had it gutted and a high performance muffler put on. It sound good at the tail pipe but it sounds hollow under the truck from the empty cat . But all in all truck runs better. And for it being illegal what they don't Know won't hert them.
