SCT Tuner
Well Just a little info, my truck is a 96 which means it had no torque management it has 172000 miles on it I drive like a mad man if you talk to my friends, its been to the track and raced, been off-road, and towed a boat for 8 years
I have been trying to decide if I want to go with the SCT or superchips. I understand the advantages of the SCT but will removing the torque management mean certain death for my transmission with over 130K? Tranny is solid right now but I would like to make it another year or two before going down the new tranny road.
Should I wait till an upgraded rebuild on my tranny before the SCT.

Do you have the SCT? I didn't see it on your sig.
Yes these are original miles, no upgrades has the tow package so it has the stock tranny cooler, I have had the sct on it for the past 3k miles, I wouldnt wait on the tranny for the sct seems like if the tranny is gonna go it just goes. Seems like you have taken alot more care of your tranny too with the service changes every 25k
And Sean has great service and if you looked up any other sites on price no one compares to him in that either, and im sure he will have no problems doing it over the phone
