Try the easy stuff first. Remove and throughly clean the TB especially the IAC sensor port and the tip of the IAC sensor being careful not to push or pull on the sensor tip. It should cost you no more than $5-$6 for a can of spray carb cleaner, a new TB gasket and about 30-45 minutes of your time.

Keep in mind that if that cleans it up it's indicating a plugged catalytic converter -- and it's unlikely to be that because the problem clears up when the engine is at normal operating temperature. You might just as well pick up an NTK O2 sensor to screw back in when the test is done.

I have an easier check before you go out and spend a bunch of money. Take OFF your air cleaner box, there is a small round cork? gasket that goes between the top of the intake manifold and your air box. it gets brittle and breaks very easily. Ensure that is in there and not broken and check your clamp is secure in the proper spot around the air box to sealed properly. I had the same problem a while ago and thats what it was. Also check the vacuum lines all over under the hood, particularly near the front right quarter panel there are some vac lines.
