Hi. im a newbie with some problems. Ive got a 95 ram 1500 2wd with 130,000 miles.
A few months ago anytime when accelerating on the highway (2500 rpms) something, I think having to do with the exhaust, would rattle. I checked for loose anything but couldnt find it. i wonder if its the cat. The noise stopped recently. At the same i threw a cel. It still is on. I checked the code today and i think it flashed code 12, 37, 32, 32, 55.
Also tonight it blew some smoke (not a lot but noticable and not likeable) when backing out. This happened one other time, but went away quickly. The engine was a bit cold though both times. Also when creeping in traffic it shakes ever so slightly until its totaly warmed up. I wonder if it all doesnt go back to a bad cat? If so im gonna upgrade the exhaust. Thanks
