Default loss of power strange noise
ok something happened to my truck today 99 ram 1500 5.2l I have an extream loss of power and this weird noise that I can only describe as like an air noise my exhaust is much quieter than it used to be and the motor struggles to rev and idles kind of rough now please let me know what you think it is any ideas will help also any ideas on how much it will cost roughly thanks

Plenum gasket is blown(do a search on DF for plenum) Cat is clogged and the precat o2 sensor needs to be replaced as well.

Definitely sounds like the cat took a dump. Happened on mine too.
