My last tank was 7mpg, but that tank consisted entirely of trips about 2-5 miles long. I would hope it's a little better when I do some highway driving too.

Pretty much isn't anything you can do. 8" lifts and 37" tires aren't exactly fuel efficient. Price to play.

That's really not too bad for a v10 truck... My dads '99 V10 didn't do much better than that stock.

Worrying about a V10's gas mileage is like buying a hooker and only holding her hand.

You pay money for each to perform a specific function, and expecting anything otherwise is foolish.

yeah they bought a v10 to perform a specific function: get rid of all that pesky extra gasoline in the tank with a quickness!

don't really see any other purpose to the V10... definitely ain't for towing power, cause you would have bought a diesel for that if you wanted efficient towing

Driving around in a V10 is just cool. Everywhere you turn there's a diesel, V10s seem a bit harder to find...

However, if I could choose, I'd buy diesel. Nothing like the sweet smell of diesel!

V10 will tow just as good as a diesel, just gotta be able to afford the fuel. Less noisy, less costly maintenance, all around a blast to drive
