Default help with problem indentification

whats up guys, been a while since ive been on here (busy semester) anyway i hopped in the truck on my way to class a few hours ago, and first i noticed my brakes werent working as well as they had been, kinda felt like they were slipping a bit, and just SLIGHTLY harder to stop, but hardly noticable... but when i rolled my window down before i came up to the parking garage, i heard a pretty loud sound.. hard to explain but the best way for me to describe it is, imagine your using a chop saw with a loose blade.. pull the trigger, cut your piece of wood and when you release the trigger. the loose blade starts to slow down... that is the sound its making, like a loose saw blade slowing down, but its constant while im driving and stops when i slow down and come to a stop...

what could this be... any help is appreciated

Hmmm... I'd be concerned that something's loose in a rear drum and is caught between the drum and a shoe. It's definitely time to sideline the truck until the problem is solved. A vehicle that won't go is an inconvenience but one that won't stop is a death trap.
