Default Replacement for stock fogs

My truck didn't come with the factory fogs, so I was trying to find them at the JY. LMC had them, but $60 each. I was at Walmart today, though, and found a pair of cheap driving lights for $20, no shipping. I figure they'll be brighter than factory fogs, anyway. I don't think the bracket will work to put them in the stock location, though. Has anyone replaced the factory fogs with something cheap, or know a cheaper place to buy the factory ones?

I found some chinese ones on ebay that are factory replacement, but they all say 99-02. LMC had 94-98, 99-02 listed as different part numbers, too. Will they still work, or what's different?

I have a complete set of aftermarket/OEM fog lights(from rock auto), with custom wire harness and the mounting bolts

Ya, I was planning on wiring them up myself, I don't have the stock switch or stock wiring for them. I suppose I can just fab up my own brackets, and use any aftermarket fogs.

Oh ya, does anyone know the diameter of the lens, and the depth from the bracket to the lens of the stock fogs? I'm trying to match up aftermarket ones as close to the stock size as I can.

I bought a set of the cheaper ones and installed them on my truck after mine were discolored and one broken lens... The difference is only in the lenses of the two part numbers, either will work as I have found on mine. I missed having mine work at all so it was a great improvement to me to have them.

Cool, I thought they looked the same, but I want the clear lenses, not the ones with the texture.

I bought the pair of cheapies at Walmart today, I'm gonna see if they will work in the stock location. Might need to have to fab up some brackets.

So, do the clear lens ones put out a fair amount of light? THe Walmart ones I bought are a 55w halogen driving light, but the brackets aren't really going to work for mounting them.

By the way, how do you install the factory fogs? I reached up under there, and could feel the holes, but I assume you have to take the bumper cover off or something, so you could get a nut or bolt on the back of the holes...
