Default TRAC BAR HELP???????

I HAve this squeak in my front end AND I HAD A FRIEND TAKE IT IN TO THE SHOP WHERE SHE WORKS.....DODGE DEALER.......AND THEY SAID IT WAS A TRACK BAR AND ONE OF THE TIE ROD ENDS.....BUT THEY SAID IT WOULD BE 750.00 DOLLARS TO FIX IT AND I THOUGHT THAT WAS REALLY HIGH SO CAN ANYONE TELL ME ABOUT THESE TRAC BARS AND HOW HARD ARE THEY TO CHANGE....IT DONT LOOK LIKE IT IS VERY HARD TO CHANGE BUT IF ANYONE KNOWS ABOUT THIS AND CAN TELL ME A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THEM I WOULD BE RATHER THANKFUL!!!!!!!!!

first off the stock bar sucks. if you have any kind of lift on it, your bar will wear out pretty quick. Check into Thruenfabrication.com or a DT tracbar. Solid Steel industries also makes a fix for it so you use a '02 bar and up.

as for putting them on... not too bad but you need to make sure all of the bolts are torqued down real good. the passenger side alone needs 225+ ft lbs of torque...

hey i tried that web page thruenfabrication .com and couldnt get anything but you say that dt bar is a good one.....i dont have a lift but i guess it still wore out so i think i may try to change it anyway

I did a Lukes Link repair on mine and it works great and only cost me 84 with a new bushing and shipping. You can check lukeslink.com for info.
