I have ngks (non iridums) in there now. Thats what I grabbed after I did my plenum over the summer. Seem to do fine. I've run the 3923's, have those still sitting in the basement. I've run champions, they do fine. All in all i've never had a problem with spark plugs... but the marketing gimic got me. Thats for all the info guys. I'll sleep on it tonight and go from there.

Thanks for the compliment lastrights. Been doing quite a bit to her lately now that the semester is over.

I put in the headlights (with the cool leds), 4000k halogen lights, and coated turn bulbs last month. Stock lenses were an eye sore imho.

Then tossed in a red top optima after my stocker finally started to give up. Had it tested and gave 205cca out of 600cca.

Swapped out my old blue rocker switches for blue led ones to match the blue led dash.

Ever since I pulled the plenum and replaced the thermostat with a cooler one, my heat has been lacking for obvious reasons. Decided to cut up some cardboard and my bro said to paint it color matched so we did. Stole some of his camo duct tape to reinforce where the zip ties were going. Works like a charm

Bought a remote start off ebay and started getting the harness together. Tossed that in last thursday.

Chopped the spare grill up.

To make these puppys...

Been wanted to do that for a long time... finally got around to it.

In the process of installing the bumper inserts, my bro noticed my one radiator to cooler line leaking.. so I picked one up and swapped that out this afternoon, and also swapped the white zipties for gray ones.

Also completely rewired my toolbox, along with new wiring down the bed. used 14/4 stranded what resembles an extension cable in shape, but slightly larger. Soldered some quick disconnects on at the bed post / toolbox. Put in some white led strips on a toggle wired to a constant hot so i can flip the lights on whenever. Running lights on toolbox were selective when they wanted to work... took care of that.

Thats what prompted this thread... have had them waiting like most of the stuff. Just finally getting around to be able to do it. Like I said earlier, ill have to sleep on it as far as the e3's go. Considering it is almost 3am... guess I won't get much sleep lol.

any vehicle should start below 0 as long as the fuel is there for it to start. i know on my 81 & 91 i just have to hit the gas twice and then hit the starter and it fires right up at any temperature.

pcfixerpro, your truck looks sweet. i like the way those new headlights look better than the stock ones

I asked the guys at Oreilly's yesterday about the E3's because I was curious myself. They said that no one has had any luck with them, but they work great in lawnmowers. They said they have been know to cut fuel consumption in half in the lawnmowers.
My son tried them in his '98 K1500 and didn't like the performance or mileage.

since i switched from bosch's 4 prong to e3's, i guess i would feel a big positive difference, maybe mine are s*** and dont seem as bad as previous ones. hmmm. Back to autolites.

I had them and they ran fine for about 8k, then it started to run rough. I took the plugs out and it look like they were getting really really hot, so I took them out and put champions in it. I checked the plugs after 5k and they are still great. The performance was the same with either plug. I have a set of e3's in my garage, I might take some pics for you guys if i get a chance.

I put the e3's in this summer on my 5.9. The only difference I've noticed so far is the mpg went up from 10.2 to 10.5

i had e3s for 3,000 and started having cylinder one miss fire and poor perfomance so i swithed them out with autolites 3923s and it runs alot better. and mine also looked like they were running very hot
