Idler Arm Crap-Fest
Is it just me, or does my idler arm only last a few hundred miles before developing slop in the direction perpendicular to the way it rotates?
The part has a lifetime warranty and takes less than 10 minutes to replace, but it is getting out of hand.
The steering is tight for a while and then gets real loose. So much so that when I push/pull the tire (off the ground) at 3 and 9 o'clock, the whole steering linkage moves UP AND DOWN an inch or so.
