In the engine bay, passenger side. Check the hoses

its the purge solenoid on the drivers side of the manifold. it has 2 vac hoses and 1 electrical connector. take it off, shake it, and see if charcoal comes out. if so your canister is likely busted, either buy a new canister, blow out all the lines and buy a new solenoid.

or just remove the canister and allow the gas vapor to vent into the air and buy a new solenoid, no CEL. prevents any charcoal particles from ever getting into your engine again

if no charcoal is present, replace the solenoid

Mine had the leak on the rubber hoses on the top of the canisters on the passenger side of the frame. I had to disconnect it and pull it down enough to see the cracks. A couple of hoses and clamps, and the error code has been gone for several months.
