loss of spark after tranny swap

Default loss of spark after tranny swap

I have a 95 dodge with the 5.9 the tranny went out (imagine that) so I got it rebuilt after reinstalling it I went to start the truck and had no spark I also changed the cap thinking it may have gotten cracked still no spark any ideas?

It is likely you damaged the crank sensor when removing or installing the transmission.

+1, make sure the crank sensor wires are not pinched between bell housing and motor.

Am I he only one who didnt' mess up the crank sensor when installing the tranny?

I didn't

Still not a bad idea to remove it before messing with the tranny.

Alright I will give that a look at this was my first tranny swap so its very possible I messed that censor up thanks

Is it no spark or no power period?
Isn't the main ground usually attached down there?

Its no spark I have power to everything the engine just turns over I pulled a plug and laid it on the engine and there is no spark wen turning the truck over
