does anyone know if you can rip a turbo off a wrecked ram and put it on a gas ram.

I doubt the engine, even if it was the 5.9 could spool up the turbo off a cummins without some major mods.

also I doubt the stock PCM would be able to keep up.

the Holset HX35 turbo is just a bit too big and would be more of a hinderance than a help.

thanks, that sucks for me. i found on at a juck yard of my friends and he was going to give it to me for 20.00 Maybe i'll hank it out and sell it on ebay

Ive already got two turbo's. a garrett T3 and a turbo off a Cummins 500 (N14, I think)

the T3 needs rebuilding, the big one is in mint condition

gas turbine anyone???[8D]

Hey, if you are serious about putting a turbo on your gas engine, check out www.turbomustangs.com.
Some great info there about anything and everything turbo related.
As for the HX35, if thats what you have, it wouldnt be too big for your engine.
From what Ive read, that turbo is good until about...500ish horse.
You would need to upgrade a lot of stuff tho, such as fuel delivery, and the PCM.

Saw this on HorsePower TV or Truckin they did it on a 97..Its a supercharger with Intercooling looks great and good number for power and price for a weekender kit.
