Default Starter Contact and Plunger Fixed.

Was having starting issues. 1999 Dodge Ram. Turn the key and nothing. Turn it again. Started right up. I thought it was battery related. Change that and it was still acting up.

Ordered the Victory Lap ND-34SOL Plunger and Contact kit and replaced the contacts. All is good now. Strong starting now!

No. The brushes were in good shape.

The grooves are not supposed to be there though they look like they were supposed to be.

Pffftttt. These guys rock.

I need to write up a DIY for starter rebuild. It's very easy and would save folks a lot of headaches from the "repaint" units they buy at the FLAPS.
