Default Tires

I am going to put a 5" lift and 35's on my truck and am wondering what tires will look really good but not break the bank, but still have good all around traction also.....I heard the baja claws are great but not sure how long they last

I'm running BFG's A/T's, they ride really smooth. M2K are nice if you do alot of aff-road.

my buddy has baja claws and they are awful in the rain but good off road. bfg's are always a good choice.

I've been thinking about trying a set of these when my Parnelli Jones wear out. At least they are E rated. For some reason I can't find the bigger tires rated for 80psi in a 16 inch diameter but that's what I want. IMO not quite as cool as the PJ's 35X12.5" instead of 36X14.5", but definitely a lot friendlier on the wallet.

Hey, i have some firestone destination M/T's and i love them so far. They arent nearly as expensive as some of the other M/T's out there and they dont wear fast either. As far as ride noise, i love them. You can hear them when your on the highway or going over 40 but they're not too loud. They also handle the rain very well, not tomention being good in the nudd. The only down side i'd say that these tires have is their sidewall which is kinda week. But they come with a good warranty.

BFG A/Ts are awesome tires. I had a bald set of 35s and never got stuck with them. Claws are good off road but on road wet or snow they suck. I run mud grapplers. I love them. My last set was pretty worn out and i barried my truck up to the floor in snow last winter. Took a min but i got out of it with the grapplers. They are exspensive but they are nice.

I run the maxxis buckshots. I like them. They run pretty good in the rain and great in the mud but they aren't that great on rocks. They aren't that expensive either.

I'm down to 3 choices. MT MTZ, Dick Cepek FC-II, or Kelly Safari TSR
