Default Fog Kit?

Does anyone know of a place to get the OEM fog light kit (kit being the lights, wiring, bumper housing, replacement switch, relay) besides the dealer? I really don't want to blow $250 on a kit from them from the dealer but if there really is no place to get them besides there, I guess I have to.

Check LMC truck. I'm pretty sure they have them. Here is a link to the fog lights: http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/de/full.aspx?Page=61

Dodge used to offer them, but they have since stopped. You will have to piece together your kit from a wrecked truck(s).

I have a set of like new lites (excellent condition)with a custom wire harness with relay, bolts for factory mounting, that wires into the park lite circuit so they don't shut off when high beams are on. PM me if you are interested.

Buy the lights themselves and the light bulb pigtails. Then build your own custom harness.

If I can get to the junkyard sometime, I'll show you how to hook them up to your factory switch.

I have a question that piggy backs off of this.

I do not have the switch for the fog lights, it is just a blank. Would it be easier to find a fog light kit than piece something together?

that wont work for us 2nd gens^^^^^

It would be easier and cheaper to buy one of the fog light kits from ebay, they are pretty good quality only thing is its not a factory harness, and you dont get the factory switch

If you have the wiring harness from the power distribution box under hood to the core support, it is easy as running 2 wires from the dash to the power box.

I wrote this How-To a couple months ago when I did the install on my '96.
https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...og-lights.html

If you want the fog lights to stay on with the high beams, you do the same as the how-to for the '98-'01.

See my how-to above. I got all the parts out of the junk yard for $50.
