Default Headlight keeps exploding

My passenger side headlight keeps exploding on me! I just bought those sylvania ultra headlights 4 days ago and it's exploded already just the same as the last headlight that it replaced. Could the reason be I have a TON of condensation in the headlight? Is there a way to check voltage at the bulb? This really sucks. Thanks for any response.

Lmao, yes. The reason is the moisture in the housing.

Ya. There is a **** ton of condensation in there. So now I have 3 bulbs that have exploded just this year in the passenger headlight. Is there a way to re seal the housing?

How much is a "TON" could be getting splatters of water on the bulb from it. maybe you need new lenses or someone has a remedy to seal em up or get the condensation out.

damn.. just the thought of an exploding headlight makes me want to grab a beer, a rolling chair, a spray bottle with water, and a tiny drill bit in a cordless drill and spend an hour or so in some corporate parking lot.. Walmart won't work.. You'd have to find a joint that has a second shift that changes after dark....

all those exploding headlights all at once...

damn...

I'm going to spend the new years in jail, but I bet you guys will like the video!!!!

It could be the moisture, or it could be something as simple as getting the oil from your fingers on the glass envelopes. On the next one, wipe down the glass of the bulb with rubbing alcohol and a lint free cloth, let it air dry for a few minutes, then be very, very careful not to allow anything but air to touch the glass ever again.
