Default Cross-referencing part numbers and tool numbers

Does anyone know of a way to cross-reference the specialty tool numbers given in the service manuals with other companies' tools? Also, a way to cross-reference the parts in the parts manuals would help, too.

What model year(s) of vehicle are you referring to?

I have a '99 Dodge ram 2500. looking specifically for an axle nut socket for a Dana 70 rear end. I found one on Snap-on's site but it's over $90 and I was really looking for a tool rental company's website that could cross-reference all the specialty tools in my service manual.
