Ok, Pulled the IAC out and cleaned the TB passage with carb cleaner, (just sprayed the cleaner through it) Sprayed the sensor with carb cleaner and wiped it off and gently blew it off w/compressed air. Noticed that the tip and the sleeve that retracts were slightly corroded. I also opened up the TB butterfly and wiped off what carbon I could see and reach. started the truck up and it sits and idles like a champ. It will rev up fine if you hit the gas. left it sit till the temp gage was at 200Deg. (195deg thermostat) tried to take it for a drive and it would pop and miss, the harder I pushed the throttle the worse it was. Kinda babied it up the road just lightly pressing throttle. After about a mile of driving it seemed to just stop and run great. Anyone got any ideas of what else to look at? Thanks for any advise and sorry so long.
