My step son has a 1997 Dodge Ram 4x4 with the 5.9 gas and an auto.My question is will the tranny out of a jeep grand cherokee with the 5.2 fit his truck.The jeep is also a 4x4

Trans in the jeep has the starter on the wrong side. Dont know why dosge did that. Check out pavement sucks.com there are all kinds of threads about it.
