Brakes are better now
Took my truck in for a brake system flush and rotor turn this morning because I have been having some overheating problems with my front brakes, which caused the rotors to glaze over. After they tore into it, they discovered that the rear brakes pads had been installed backwards. The brakes had worked fine for awhile, but then the adjuster could not keep them pushed up against the drum (because they are in backwards), so I have basically been braking with just my front disks only, rear weren't even touching the drums. That explains why my fronts were overheating.
When I bought the truck, it needed brakes. I told the dealer that I wanted them to put new brakes on before I bought it, and they did, but looks like they screwed it up. I'm going to try to take my receipt from this morning back to the dealer I bought the truck from and see if they will pay for it.
Braking feels so much better now. I had them install ceramic pads too.

They are Akebono ceramic pads. They said they are supposed to be pretty good quality. They did a lifetime warranty on them too, so i'm set for awhile now.
They do a lifetime warranty because they will eat your rotors up before they go bad, had a set on my Ford and went through 2 sets of rotors before I got smart and switched pads, just a heads up
I called around to get prices on rotors and pads and for the quality stuff, it had to be ordered. So I'm probably gonna go with the performance stuff from Summit. The cost difference is not that much and it can be shipped overnight. I might throw in the rear shocks and front 3" springs while I'm at it...
