A complete 3” kit would include, lower control arms, drop pitman arm, tracbar bracket, new springs, shocks, add a leaf for the rear and all the nuts and bolts needed to finish the job right.

I have about 2" on mine and 32's. Like mentioned, the 3.55's are a bitch. Doesn't look mean mean, but its good enough for me on my budget

merc225hp-With this lift you don't need new springs when you're doin spring spacers. as for the lower control arms, drop pitman arm, tracbar bracket you shouldn't need it when your only going up 3"...if your budget can include that, well then yes do it but for a low budget the topguncustomz one is fine.

rbatista28-I haven't had time to put the lift one, got it yesterday, and with the snow today haven't gotten around to it.

I can tell you from experience you do need those parts for a 3" lift. I bought mine from topgunz and it didn't include them. The alignment shop told me my steering is completely out of geometry because I do not have those parts installed. They specialize in lifted truck alignments. You can get a way without them but they didn't recommend it because it causes unpredictable steering. Without the controls arms the wheel will be set back 3/4" from center and without the drop pitman arm your steering is way out of whack and the trackbar bracket keeps the truck from dogtracking. Do as you like but I will never install any suspension lift without installing those parts. The reason Merc mentioned new springs and add a leafs is because spacers and additional blocks is not the best way to do a lift and it isn't much more expensive to do it right the first time.

I forgot the only part I was told I might get a way without using is the sway bar drop brackets.

For a 3" lift the lower control arms are 3/4" longer than stock.
Track bar bracket is found here.

Drop pitman arm is recommended to keep factory steering geometry in spec

By not adding these parts you are just eating up the front tires, so if you feel like getting new tires every 6 months not a problem.
There is cheap and then there is cheap and safe I like safe. Yes if you like you can use spring spacers but new springs are the preferred choice.

Body lifts are cheap to buy, but take about 6-8 hrs to install, if paying a shop to install it, not cheap.
