bad miss
ok i got a problem with my 97 ram. it was starting to get bad gas mileage so i replaced them with Champion Double Platinum Spark Plug. Now its all but 2 cylinders are missing and is only getting 6.4 MPG. at idle it knocks, and when you gun it it misses bad. theirs black **** spiting out that smells like water. and is burning rich. now i know it has a bad o2 sensor but there is no cat. we were tanking maybe the wires, cap, and rotor might be bad but when i was googleing some things i cam across a post on hear from a guy with a 2000 dodge and it almost sounded like the same thing. but at the same time i don't thank so. so i figured i would ask and see what you all have to say. and yes for those of you still around this is the same dodge that had the trans problems after i had it in a mud puddle up to the doors. i did get the trans fixed. and as you can see it has a few other bugs.
thanks for taking the time to read and respond if you do

your plenum is blown. Do a search here, its a problem that will happen in all 2nd gen rams. and theres 49875426987235687356708356837560730546730456735670 3485767830586703487563574603845670735406356 threads on it.
ok from the search im guessing your talking about seeing if its dirty or bad gasket in there. i would bet my right nut it is. it has never been taken off nor has it been cleaned.
