hey guys. i've got a 95 dodge ram 1500. put a 3 inch body lift on but had no front bumper brackets. i have contacted performance accessories and have had no luck. anybody got any idea on what to do with the front bumper? thanks in advance

i think you might have to make your own, dont quote me on it its just what ive heard for the first gen dakotas

you dont have to make your own it should have come with two large brackets that look sort of L-shaped and two small rectangular brackets approx 1.5""x3" with two holes in them. if they didnt come with it alot of time you have to order them as an option. you should be able to contact them and say you want the bumper lift kit.

body lifts are gay anyways, quit being cheap and get a good suspension lift!

The factory hubs on the front off the 2nd gen dana 44 to older style spindles/bearings/lockouts.

So, for thread jacking, I will help to answer the OP's question. When I did a body lift on my 2nd gen, it came with the wrong bumper brackets for the front bumper (I had a sport, it came with non sport brackets). So all I did was cut the original brackets in half (vertically) and welded the front portion up another 3". It worked great on my newer sport bracket due to the way it is shaped, not too sure how the non-sport bracket would work going this routed.
As far as the rear bumper, all I did was drilled new holes on the frame and used the stock brackets.
