I was wondering how hard and how much it cost to switch out my manual windows and door locks for power ones off of a donor truck? Has anyone ever done this or has anyone done this with the kits you can get from JC Whitney or LMC?

I used the kit from JCWhitney. The door locks work great but the windows are the biggest POS you have ever seen. They work the actuator off of a a cable driven by a small electric motor. The end of the cable will snap after more than a year. I have no problems with the door locks other than my key less entry system doesn't push the driver's side lock up enough to unlock the door. I don't know if that is on the lock or the key less. I tried adjusting it to no avail.

 

find a white donar truck and swap doors....piece of cake!
