Default Transmission lines bursting

My 98 dodge ram 1500 5.2l 2wd transmisson cooler line from the bottom of the radiator was stripped out 2 weeks ago i replaced it with the line from autozone it worked fine for a couple days then was driving and the line broke right where the rubber meets the metal fitting or what ever. so i cut that piece of the line unscrewed it and took some hose from autozone and hose clamp the line to the metal line. good connection no leaks til i was driving for 20 minutes yesterday and where the rubber meets the fiiting but on the end where it connects to the radiator tore off. i dont know what is making the lines break. i think maybe theres something to do with tranny pressure and could this be the problem or could it be the $hi### replacement line that autozone gives out. does everybody carry 6 qts of atf+4 fluid and spare hoses with them just in case like me. id appreciate any suggestions and solutions and if anybody has heard of this or experienced the same problem let me know. thx

ps ill try to post pics

I have never seen excessive pressure but you can place a TEE into the rubber line with a pressure gauge and the converter/cooling pressure is regulated to approx 90 PSI...

the pressure in the cooling line is not real high, but the atf is pretty hot, probably 200-250F.

what is breaking, the hose or the steel line?
any hose should be ATF hose only, not vacuum line, or anything else.

if the hose is sliding off the metal line, try double clamping it.

the hose where it is connected to hydraulic fitting if that makes sense pretty much tore off. i tried replacing the hose with clammps and hose and the other end busted off the other day.

Wonder if the check valve is clogged causing back pressure... and do be sure the line you use can handle at minimum 150 psi.

sounds like your hoses are rotten and need replacement.
while you're at it, remove or drill out the check valve.

i used a tubing cutter to cut off the threaded piece at the frame and the quick connect bulb on the radiator piece, and then installed a new piece of AT hose with double clamps. the hose is $3/foot and the clamps are a couple of bucks. a tubing cutter is only a few bucks at the hardware or parts store.

here's some pics. ignore all the filter and cooler stuff.
