tranny question
Hello,
so what can this be? First of all 1999 LB 1500 4x4 5.9 gasoline -
My problem - in some cases my tranny wont shift up - example
starting in the morning - tranny shifts normal -drive 15 miles -
first traffic light comes - have to stop - roll on and the tranny
wont shift up - put it in neutral and back to drive and now it shifts???
Fluid Level is ok. Dont smell burned?
Any idea?

LMAO!! im not laughing at you im laughing with ya. i just went through this and it was an easy fix for me. it is also a very common problem with the tranny.
govenor pressure sensor and solenoid. replace them with NEW parts and adjust the bands and all will be good again.
i knew NOTHING about tranny's when i found this site and the guys on here walked me through it with ease and now i am a GPS and solenoid master. LMAO!! not really but i did fix it and saved myself LOTS OF CASH!!!! i spent around $200 or so. this same trouble 3 yeras ago coat me $2500+ at Aamco!!!!!!! the bastards!!
