Crossmember
Jack up your tranny as high as you can all the way against the floorboard.
Crossmember mount are tapered, so you can't just bolt it in. You need to push it up past its mounts, toward the back of the truck. Then slide the crossmember forward, lowered it down - it should line up with the mounting holes. Once you got mounting bolts in lower the tranny into its mounts.
Hope this helps.

1. Get a small bottle jack and a 4x4.
2. Put the 4x4 between the 2 frame rails
3. Crank on the bottle jack until it can support itself.
4. Keep on cranking on it until you have the room you need
This worked GREAT for me when I did my tranny. Hope it does the same for you!!!
