The Mopar PCM is great, worth every penny. Biggest single gain out of any of the bolt-ons on my truck easily.

It seems legit buit dosent resemble the original pcm. And yeah. IO meant pcm except this is a engine controller chip quoted be them. Hit listing for the rest of them as well. (engine types) Im kinda hoping its legitamite here and not a washover. Thankjs to the eager responses however!

Uhh what does your PCM look like? I have a 318 and a 360 one for my truck (94) and they are both identical to that one.

I am pretty sure that Summit Racing and Jegs have had them this whole time for about $275.

Has anybody with the v-10 run this and how does it affect towing?

any tune for any truck is the best mod, coming outta factory there not going too tune for the best they will want the truck to last. so tune it and run it ,it will feel like a new truck and you will fall in love with it all over agian !

I have had the Mopar performance pcm in my truck since 96 it was installed at the dealer before I drove the truck off the lot. But as for the towing warning, I have towed with this pcm and have had no I’ll effects when towing, You do need to use the best gas you can get with this pcm but it really does not limit you from towing, if anything it helps when towing. The biggest thing I towed for a year was a 28’ 5000lbs 5th wheel. I still tow boats and sleds around with the dodge when the dually is not worth running up. I honestly think the mopar performance pcm is the cats meow for 94-96 trucks yes i am including the 96 model year.

soooo. I dont tow much. I have every simple bolt on mod (minus an m1 and HS 1.7 RR which eventually will be added) so i think one of these would be great. And no theyve had them "in stock" but realisticly theyve been fossils of the past. mopar stopped making them for a while at least. maybe they have been making more again for a while. Either way thanks for the quickreplys. Im getting one. Anyone else thinking the same? Much better than superchips.
