I need some feedback?!
I have saved up enough money for this 98 Dodge Ram ext. bed that i have found locally.
It has all power options, 4WD, abs, etc. etc. And is in extremely good condition for 167k miles.. (this is my first vehicle)
But I would like some feedback from others about it? Anyone else see this as a good first truck?

miles dont mean alot if the truck has been well taken care of i own a 96 w 178k on it and besides the fuel pump and sending unit i havent had to put much money into it just be aware of lousy mileage lol
I never planned on good mileage, I always knew a truck would be a gas sucker. I'm excited as hell though, I cant wait to have my own vehicle. Sick of driving my moms sh*tty volvo. Yes, my moms. In the next few months I want to do anything I can to it, what should be my first upgrades? (i dont know **** about vehicles, im trying to learn now that I have a license and have something to experiment on)
this is my first truck too. it had about 108,000 miles on it. runs great. Im broke now because of her and my girlfriend. ( I spend way more on the truck.) just be careful and make sure everythings fine.
i just bought a 98 Dodge Ram Ext. Cab 5.9 V8(the truck earlier)
It needs new tires, what should I get? I was thinking mud tires.. im not sure about the rough ride though.

Like moparman said, milage dont mean squat. If the truck has been well maintained it could have 200,000 miles on it and still run great. The biggest thing is to take it for a test drive and bring someone with you who's got some mechanical know how and isnt in love with the truck. Take her for a test drive and listen to every noise that she makes.
Just remember, this isnt the only truck in the world, if you dont buy it theres always gonna be another one that you like, I myself waited 2 years before buying a new vehicle (by the looks of my old chevy, it looks like i waited 200 years
)This is just friendly advice, its best not to run into buying something your gonna love today and hate tommorow. If she checks out sounds like a killer ride!
