So I understand that the V10 was designed as a truck engine first, but revamped by the Lambrigenie department for the Viper, so the two engines are same concept but slightly different. But I'm looking for performance parts for the truck engine but only find stuff for the Viper/SRT-10. Are the Cams, rockers, lifters and such still the same/interchangeable? Or are these two engines too different for that?

 

I believe the fact that it's a v10 is the only thing similar between the 8.0 and the 8.3,
however the 8.3 in the SRT10 is similar, if not the same as the Viper 8.3

If you have a 8.0 then a CAI and a tuner is about the only performance parts we can get.
